How does a Lotto Auction work?

Lotto Auctions are made up of 4 main parts: winners price, entry fee, total slots, and slots available.

Inorder to participate in a Lotto Auction you must have money in your Buyinlow member account (see related articles on how to add money to your account).

Lotto Auctions have an "entry fee" which is the amount required in order to participate.  This fee is set by the seller of the Lotto Auction.  When participating the entry fee will automatically be deducted from your Buyinlow member account.

The seller also sets the number of participants that can join the Lotto Auction, known as "total slots".  Once all slots have been filled a winner is randomly chosen.  A member can tell how many slots are available by checking "slots available".

Once a winner has been selected emails are sent to the winner and losers.  The winner is then obligated to pay the "winner's price" which is in addition to the entry fee.

Lotto Auctions can also expire.  If a Lotto Auction expires without all slots being filled, all members who participated will be refunded the "entry fee".  The refund will be put in your Buyinlow member account.
